Where Engagement Meets Excellence

How We Teach

Our GCSE sessions strike the balance between rigour and accessibility. We make learning clear, structured, and engaging – especially when revision fatigue sets in.

We use:

Modelled past paper answers and targeted revision questions

Mini whiteboards, buzzers, and quiz-style games to keep sessions active

Colour-printed worksheets and scaffolding tools that support exam technique

Practical science resources to bring experiments and data tasks to life

Students also have access to a dedicated Google Classroom, where we share weekly work, revision material, and extra tasks. Every student is encouraged to email us if they need help between sessions – and we respond. This between-lesson support is often what helps
students push through tricky topics or revision blocks.

In our in-person sessions, students can earn stamps to exchange for prizes from our prize shelf, and we provide a short snack break to keep energy up during more intensive sessions

Revision Support, Built In

Free Access to Premium Revision Materials

All Ignito students receive free access to our handmade revision resources, including our popular Predicted Papers – a focused set of exam-style papers created in house, based on research of the past 5 years of exams. These resources are thoughtfully structured to replicate each exam.

We also regularly share study tips and advice on our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels – students are encouraged to follow along for extra support and motivation.

Empowered to Progress

Helping Students Take Ownership

At this stage, confidence and ownership go hand in hand. While we provide structure and guidance, we also encourage students to take responsibility for their progress – completing homework, revisiting key topics, and speaking up when they need help.

We give them the support system to do it – and the accountability that pushes them to succeed.

Simple. Structured. Supportive.
