Part A: Core Terms · Schedule 1: Group Tuition · Schedule 2: One-to-One Tuition · Schedule

3: GCSE Exam Support Programme · Schedule 4: Online GCSE Programme

Please read before accepting. Important information about prices, the length of the agreement, notice periods, missed sessions, refunds and programme access is also shown clearly during enrolment or checkout. These Terms do not reduce any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

PART A: CORE TERMS

These Core Terms form the agreement between Ignito Tuition Ltd (“Ignito”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and the person who submits the enrolment or purchase form (“the customer”, “you” or “your”). The learner receiving the service is referred to as the “student”. The customer may be a parent or carer, or an adult student contracting for themselves.

1. About the agreement

1.1 Ignito Tuition Ltd provides small-group tuition, one-to-one tuition, examination support and related educational services in-person and online.

1.2 The agreement consists of: the enrolment or purchase form; these Core Terms; the Product Schedule identified in the booking confirmation; and the written confirmation of the price, subject, format, timetable or access period. If a Product Schedule conflicts with the Core Terms, the Product Schedule takes priority for that service.

1.3 The customer is responsible for paying the fees and for ensuring that the information supplied during enrolment is accurate. Where an adult student is enrolled by a parent or another person, that person remains the customer unless Ignito agrees otherwise in writing. 1.4 A reference to “writing” includes email and a message submitted through an approved Ignito booking or account system.

2. Booking, acceptance and the length of the agreement

2.1 The customer accepts the agreement by submitting a trial booking, enrolment or purchase form and ticking the box confirming acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. Acceptance given before a free group trial continues to apply to any tuition that follows.

2.2 A booking is subject to Ignito confirming that the service, tutor or group is available and suitable. We may decline an application where, for example, a place is unavailable, the information supplied is incomplete, the requested service is unsuitable, or a safeguarding or welfare concern means that the booking should not proceed. If we decline a booking before the service begins, we will return any money paid for it.

2.3 An academic-year tuition agreement ends automatically after the final scheduled lesson or, for an exam-year programme, at the end stated in the relevant Product Schedule. It does not renew automatically. Continuing in the following academic year requires a new enrolment form and acceptance of the terms then in force.

2.4 The customer does not need to give notice merely to decline a place offered for the next academic year. Once a new academic-year place has been accepted, the normal cancellation rules apply.

3. Free trial sessions (group tuition)

3.1 Free trial sessions are offered subject to availability and do not guarantee a continuing place. Free trials are offered for group tuition only. One-to-one tuition and the Programmes do not include a free trial.

3.2 If a free trial is missed without notice, Ignito will offer one free rebooking. A second missed trial ends the free-trial offer for that student.

3.3 Where Ignito recommends a continuing place after a trial, that place is normally held for 24 hours and then returns to general availability unless we confirm otherwise.

4. How we provide the services

4.1 Ignito will provide the services with reasonable care and skill. We will use appropriately selected tutors and reasonable educational methods, resources and systems for the service booked.

4.2 We may change the individual tutor, approved online platform or supporting technology where reasonably necessary. Any replacement platform will be reasonably equivalent and will not introduce an additional charge without the customer’s agreement.

4.3 We may use a suitable cover tutor. A lesson delivered by a suitable cover tutor counts as delivery of the booked service.

4.4 Tuition supports learning but cannot guarantee a particular grade, examination result, school placement, university offer or other academic outcome. Progress also depends on attendance, engagement, independent work and circumstances outside Ignito’s control.

5. Customer and student responsibilities

5.1 The customer must provide accurate contact, emergency, academic, examination, medical, allergy and support information, and update it promptly when anything changes.

5.2 The customer must ensure that the student attends punctually, is ready to learn, brings or has access to the requested equipment and materials, and completes agreed homework or independent work.

5.3 The student must behave respectfully towards tutors, staff and other students, follow reasonable instructions and use Ignito’s premises, systems and materials appropriately.

5.4 The customer must tell Ignito about any special arrangements for how their student gets home, including anyone who must not collect them, and must keep Ignito informed if those arrangements change. If a customer is running late, a tutor will stay with the student until they are collected.

6. Fees and payment

6.1 The price and payment method are those shown during enrolment or purchase. Payment may be made by the methods Ignito makes available, which may include card, direct debit, bank transfer or cash.

6.2 Where a payment is collected automatically and fails, we may retry it and will then contact the customer. Ignito does not charge a late-payment fee, but may suspend services or access while payment remains outstanding and may release a reserved place in accordance with the relevant Product Schedule.

6.3 Prices for an active academic-year tuition agreement will not increase during that academic year. Prices for a new academic year may change, and Ignito will aim to give at least four weeks’ notice before the new agreement begins. If an exceptional increase during an academic year ever becomes unavoidable, Ignito will explain the reason and give at least four weeks’ notice, and the customer may end the affected tuition immediately, with a refund of any amount paid for tuition after the change takes effect.

6.4 Where an annual payment includes a discount and the customer ends tuition early, Ignito will recalculate the amount payable for the tuition supplied using the standard monthly price, without the annual discount. Any remaining balance will then be refunded.

6.5 The customer remains responsible for fees properly due for services supplied, reserved sessions and applicable notice periods, even if the student chooses not to attend.

7. Changes to services

7.1 Ignito may make reasonable operational changes, including changing a tutor, supporting platform, lesson materials or the order in which content is taught. We will give as much notice as reasonably possible and will normally aim to give at least one week’s notice of a

planned timetable or group change.

7.2 Where we make a material change that places the customer at a significant disadvantage and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, the customer may end the affected service without paying for any period after the change takes effect.

7.3 We may update these Terms for future enrolments. During an active agreement, we will only make a material contractual change where reasonably necessary, for example to comply with law, regulatory guidance, safeguarding requirements or a significant change in the service. We will explain the change and any right to end the affected service.

8. Attendance, illness, homework and engagement

8.1 Regular attendance and active participation are important. A student who is unwell should not attend an in-person session where doing so may place others at risk.

8.2 The rules for missed or rearranged sessions differ by product and are set out in the relevant Product Schedule.

8.3 Homework and independent practice form part of regular tuition. Persistent noncompletion, refusal to participate or lack of effort may lead to a discussion about whether the service remains suitable.

8.4 Two recorded instances of disruptive behaviour, missing homework or sustained lack of effort within a month will normally trigger a serious discussion; they do not cause automatic removal. Serious misconduct, abuse, threats, deliberate damage, unsafe conduct or a safeguarding concern may result in immediate suspension or removal.

9. Special educational needs, disabilities, medical information and allergies

9.1 The customer must provide accurate and complete information about any special educational need, disability, medical condition, medication or allergy that is relevant to safe and appropriate tuition, and must promptly notify Ignito of changes.

9.2 Where the law requires explicit consent for Ignito to use health, disability, medical or allergy information, that consent will be requested separately. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide the service safely.

9.3 Ignito may offer snacks, refreshments or edible rewards during some in-person sessions. The customer must make sure allergy information is current.

9.4 We will make reasonable efforts to support disclosed needs but cannot be responsible for consequences caused by important information being withheld, inaccurate or not updated, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Online tuition, platforms and recordings

10.1 Online services may use Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skool, Google Classroom or a reasonably equivalent approved platform. Students must use a safe, suitable and reasonably private environment and appropriate equipment and internet access.

10.2 Where a Product Schedule asks for a camera and microphone, the student should use them unless Ignito agrees otherwise in advance.

10.3 Ignito aims to record online group, one-to-one and Exam Support sessions for educational and safeguarding purposes, but a recording cannot be guaranteed where a technical or practical problem prevents it.

10.4 Recordings are made available only through approved Ignito systems to the relevant student or group. They must not be downloaded, copied, published or shared unless Ignito expressly permits it in writing.

10.5 Online recordings are normally removed by 30 September following the relevant academic year, unless they are needed for safeguarding, a complaint, security or legal reasons. Further information is in the Privacy Policy.

11. Safeguarding, CCTV and communications

11.1 Ignito follows its Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. CCTV operates in teaching areas at the centre for safety and safeguarding. Footage is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11.2 Tutor-student communications must use approved Ignito channels. Parents or carers are copied into direct email exchanges with students under 16 unless the Designated Safeguarding Lead directs a different arrangement to protect the child.

11.3 Some one-to-one sessions may be delivered by a trained student tutor, and the customer’s agreement to this is given by accepting these Terms. Ignito will tell the customer the tutor’s name and category before the first session. These sessions take place in open and visible teaching spaces with CCTV in operation. Every student tutor is Enhanced DBS checked, and every pairing is approved by the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Further safeguards are contained in Ignito’s safeguarding and staff-conduct policies.

11.4 Ignito may share relevant information with a school or college safeguarding lead, children’s social care, the police, the Local Authority Designated Officer or another appropriate authority where this is necessary and proportionate to protect a child.

12. Privacy, photographs and communications

12.1 Ignito processes personal information in accordance with UK data protection law and its Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored and shared, including information processed through Google Workspace, payment services, Skool and other approved providers.

12.2 Photographs or promotional videos of a student will only be taken or used where the relevant consent has been recorded. Marketing communications are sent in accordance with the choices made by the customer and may be stopped at any time.

13. Intellectual property and acceptable use

13.1 Lesson materials, recordings, revision resources, downloads, branding and other content supplied by Ignito remain owned by Ignito or the relevant rights holder.

13.2 The customer and student receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the materials for the student’s own education. They must not sell, publish, upload publicly, distribute, share access credentials, or use the materials to provide tuition or services to others.

13.3 Reasonable printing or downloading of resources expressly made downloadable is permitted for the student’s personal study. Recordings may not be downloaded unless Ignito expressly states otherwise.

14. Your statutory cancellation rights

14.1 Where the agreement is made online or at a distance, the customer will normally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract. This is separate from any notice period or additional guarantee offered by Ignito.

14.2 Where the customer expressly asks Ignito to begin a service during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancels during that period, Ignito may charge a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to cancellation.

14.3 Where immediate access to digital content is requested, the customer may be asked to give express consent to supply beginning and to acknowledge that the statutory cancellation right for that digital content may be lost once supply begins.

14.4 Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

15. Ending a service

15.1 The customer may end a continuing service as set out in the relevant Product Schedule. Where a notice period applies, notice must be given in writing and runs in ordinary calendar days or weeks, including school holidays.

15.2 Where a notice period or a paid period applies, the student may continue to attend and Ignito recommends doing so, but attendance is not compulsory. Amounts properly due are not refunded because the student chooses not to attend.

15.3 Ignito may end or suspend a service immediately for serious misconduct, safeguarding or welfare concerns, deliberate misuse of systems or materials, or non-payment. We may otherwise end a continuing service by giving reasonable notice, or sooner where the service is no longer suitable and a prompt ending is in the student’s interests.

15.4 Where Ignito ends tuition, any prepaid amount for lessons that will not be delivered will be refunded, after deducting fees properly due for services already supplied or a valid notice period. Different refund rules may apply where access to a fixed digital Programme is removed for serious misuse, as stated in Schedule 3 and subject to applicable consumer law.

16. One-off events and short courses

16.1 This section applies to holiday boosters, workshops, mock examinations and other fixeddate events booked separately from regular tuition. The event description shown at purchase states the date, format, duration, subject, price and any included resources, and payment is normally required in advance to reserve the place.

16.2 A session missed by the student is not refundable, although Ignito may provide available resources where appropriate. Ignito may make reasonable minor changes to the running arrangements.

16.3 If Ignito cancels the event or makes a material change and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the affected booking will be refunded. Statutory cancellation rights apply as described in Section 14.

17. School-funded tuition

17.1 Where a school or another education organisation commissions and pays for the student’s tuition, that organisation, rather than the parent or carer, is responsible for payment under its separate agreement with Ignito.

17.2 The parent, carer or adult student must still complete Ignito’s enrolment process, and the student and family remain responsible for the attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and service rules in these Terms.

17.3 Ignito may share attendance, homework, progress and relevant safeguarding information with the commissioning organisation where this forms part of the commissioned service, handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

17.4 If a parent or carer asks for a school-funded placement to end, Ignito will normally confirm the change with the commissioning organisation before ending it, unless safeguarding or welfare requires immediate action.

18. Events outside our reasonable control

18.1 Ignito is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as severe weather, loss of premises, widespread power or internet failure, public-health restrictions or disruption affecting a tutor or platform provider.

18.2 We will make reasonable efforts to use a cover tutor, rearrange the service or provide a suitable online alternative. If we cannot deliver the affected lesson or service in any reasonable format, it will not be charged; prepaid customers will receive an appropriate refund or credit.

19. Liability

19.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19.2 If Ignito fails to comply with the agreement, it is responsible for loss or damage that is a

foreseeable result of that failure or of failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable where it was obvious or both parties knew it might happen when the agreement was made.

19.3 Ignito is not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, business loss, or consequences caused primarily by student non-attendance, lack of engagement, inaccurate or withheld information, the customer’s or student’s equipment or internet connection, or decisions made by a school, examination board or other third party.

19.4 The services are supplied for personal educational use. Nothing in these Terms affects the customer’s legal remedies where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

20. Complaints

20.1 Please raise concerns promptly with the tutor where appropriate or email info@ignitotuition.co.uk, explaining what happened and the outcome sought.

20.2 Ignito aims to acknowledge a formal complaint within three working days and provide a substantive written response within ten working days. If more time is required, we will explain why and provide a revised response date.

20.3 If the customer remains dissatisfied, they may request a review by Joseph Wells within ten working days. If the complaint concerns Joseph Wells, Nathan Wells will review it separately.

20.4 Safeguarding concerns should be raised immediately with Joseph Wells at josephwells@ignitotuition.co.uk or 07464 449427. If the concern relates to Joseph Wells, contact the Norfolk Local Authority Designated Officer or Nathan Wells at n.wells@ignitotuition.co.uk. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.

21. General

21.1 If a court or relevant authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

21.2 A delay by either party in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.

21.3 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. A customer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retains any mandatory local consumer protections and may use the courts available to them under applicable law.

SCHEDULE 1: GROUP TUITION

This Schedule applies to regular small-group tuition, whether delivered in-person or online. It should be read with the Core Terms.

1. The group service

1.1 Group lessons are normally 60 minutes per subject each week during the published teaching calendar.

1.2 Maximum group sizes are eight students in-person and six students online.

1.3 Ignito groups students by year, subject, ability and learning needs wherever reasonably possible. A particular mix of students cannot be guaranteed.

1.4 Weekly homework is set and reviewed. Parents or carers are contacted when homework is incomplete. Regular group students normally receive a half-termly update covering attendance, homework, attitude to learning and tutor comments where applicable.

1.5 Group tuition for Key Stages 2 to 4 and Functional Skills includes an optional weekly homework club session of up to one hour, at no extra charge. Homework club is a supervised support session rather than a taught lesson, runs subject to the published timetable and may be adjusted or withdrawn on reasonable notice without affecting the tuition price. Places may be subject to capacity. Attendance is optional, and a missed or cancelled homework club session does not give rise to any charge, credit or refund.

2. Academic-year programme and payments

2.1 Group tuition is sold as an academic-year programme, not as separate calendar months. The programme ends automatically after the final scheduled summer-term lesson or, for exam-year programmes, after the final scheduled lesson before the final examination in that subject.

2.2 The monthly option spreads the academic-year price across ten equal instalments from September to June. The instalments do not buy a fixed number of lessons in a particular month; school holidays and planned closures are already reflected in the annual price. 2.3 Monthly instalments are normally collected automatically on the first day of each month. An annual-payment option may be offered and is payable in advance. Any discount and the exact annual price are shown at the point of purchase.

2.4 Where a student joins part-way through a payment month, the initial joining payment is 25% of the normal monthly instalment for each scheduled weekly group lesson remaining before the next regular monthly collection, capped at one full monthly instalment.

3. Attendance and missed group lessons

3.1 A lesson missed by an individual student remains chargeable. A catch-up place in another group is not guaranteed.

3.2 Where reasonably possible, Ignito will provide a recording, notes, resources or suitable alternative study material so that the student can catch up. A technical or practical failure to provide a recording does not create a refund entitlement where the online lesson was delivered.

3.3 Where serious or prolonged illness affects attendance, Ignito will discuss reasonable options with the customer, which may include pausing or altering the payment arrangement.

Any arrangement must be confirmed in writing and is not automatic.

3.4 If Ignito rearranges the whole group to another day and the student cannot attend, the customer must tell us before the rearranged lesson begins. We will then refund or credit the per-week rate for that lesson.

3.5 The “per-week rate” means the total academic-year price for the subject divided by the number of scheduled teaching weeks in that programme.

4. Group numbers and changes

4.1 If numbers fall below the level needed for a viable group, Ignito may continue it temporarily, merge it with another suitable group, or offer a reasonable alternative.

4.2 We will normally aim to give at least one week’s notice of a planned merger, closure or permanent timetable change.

4.3 Ignito may move a student to a different group where the existing group is no longer suitable for their ability, progress, behaviour or needs. We will consult the customer before making a permanent move.

4.4 If no reasonable alternative is suitable or available after a material group change, the customer may end the affected subject immediately, and any amount paid for tuition not delivered will be refunded.

5. Tutor absence and temporary online delivery

5.1 If the usual tutor is unavailable, Ignito may provide a suitable cover tutor, rearrange the lesson or cancel it.

5.2 An in-person group may be moved online temporarily where reasonably necessary, including because of illness, weather, building problems or another disruption. Where the online lesson is delivered, it remains chargeable even if an individual student cannot attend. 5.3 If Ignito cancels a group lesson and cannot provide a suitable cover tutor, rearranged lesson or online alternative, the lesson will not be charged and prepaid customers will receive a refund or credit at the per-week rate.

6. Online group rules

6.1 Unless agreed otherwise, students should join with their camera and microphone on and keep them available for participation.

6.2 If a student repeatedly does not use the required camera or microphone, Ignito will contact the customer to understand the reason and agree appropriate next steps. Continued refusal without an agreed reason may be treated as lack of engagement.

6.3 Ignito aims to record online groups and post the recording or resources to the relevant Google Classroom or approved platform. Recording is not guaranteed.

7. Ending group tuition

7.1 The customer may end group tuition at any time by telling Ignito in writing. No notice period applies.

7.2 Where the customer pays monthly, tuition continues to the end of the period already paid for and no further instalments are taken. The student is welcome at every remaining session in that period, and the amount already paid is not refunded.

7.3 Where the customer has paid annually, Ignito will refund the value of the tuition not yet delivered, calculated in accordance with Core Terms clause 6.4.

SCHEDULE 2: ONE-TO-ONE TUITION

This Schedule applies to regular weekly and occasional one-to-one tuition. It should be read with the Core Terms.

1. How one-to-one tuition works

1.1 Sessions are normally 60 minutes and are planned around the individual student’s needs, exam board, tier and agreed priorities.

1.2 The usual arrangement is a regular weekly reserved slot. Ignito may also offer occasional one-off sessions where a tutor is available.

1.3 One-to-one tuition may be delivered in-person or online. Most sessions are in-person. Student tutors teach in-person at the centre under the safeguards described in the Core Terms; adult Ignito tutors may teach in-person or online.

1.4 The customer may choose between the tutor categories and options that Ignito has available. Prices may differ by tutor category, subject, level and format and will be confirmed before booking.

1.5 Free trial sessions are not offered for one-to-one tuition. All one-to-one sessions are chargeable, and invoicing applies from the first session.

2. Invoices and reserved slots

2.1 One-to-one sessions are normally invoiced after they take place. Payment is due within seven days of the invoice date, although the customer may pay earlier.

2.2 A regular weekly slot remains reserved while invoices are paid on time. If an invoice remains unpaid for seven days after its due date, Ignito may release the slot after attempting to contact the customer.

3. Customer cancellations and no-shows

3.1 The customer must give at least 24 hours’ notice, measured back from the scheduled start time, to cancel or move an individual session.

3.2 Where sufficient notice is given, Ignito will try to rearrange the session if the tutor has a mutually workable alternative. If no workable alternative is available, the session will be cancelled without charge.

3.3 Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee is normally charged. Ignito may make an exception for a genuine emergency or sudden serious illness at its reasonable discretion.

3.4 A session missed without notice is charged in full. Ignito will provide suitable supporting resources for the student that day where reasonably possible.

3.5 If the student arrives late, the session will still end at the original finishing time and the full fee remains due.

4. Tutor cancellation or delay

4.1 If the tutor cannot attend, Ignito may offer a suitable replacement tutor or rearrange the session.

4.2 If no suitable alternative can be provided, the session will not be charged or the customer will receive a credit or refund.

4.3 If a tutor starts late, Ignito will extend the session where reasonably possible. If that is not possible, we will provide equivalent additional time, a credit or a proportionate refund.

5. Homework and progress information

5.1 Homework is set weekly as part of regular one-to-one tuition and is reviewed by the tutor. The customer will be contacted where homework is incomplete.

5.2 Students attending regular weekly one-to-one tuition normally receive a half-termly progress update. Formal half-termly reports do not apply to isolated one-off sessions.

6. Ending a regular weekly slot

6.1 The customer may end a regular weekly one-to-one arrangement by giving 14 calendar days’ written notice.

6.2 Scheduled sessions and charges continue during the notice period. An occasional one-off customer does not need to give 14 days’ notice beyond complying with the cancellation rule for any session already booked.

6.3 A regular one-to-one academic-year arrangement otherwise ends automatically after the final scheduled summer-term lesson, or at the exam-year end point confirmed by Ignito.

SCHEDULE 3: GCSE EXAM SUPPORT PROGRAMME

This Schedule applies where Exam Support is included with eligible weekly tuition, where it is included with the Online GCSE Programme, and where the Programme is purchased separately.

1. What the Programme includes

1.1 The Programme includes night-before revision sessions, in-person or online boosters, online drop-ins, recordings, downloadable resources, community or discussion access, examination debriefs and a celebration session.

1.2 The exact dates, times, subjects, examination boards, tiers and papers covered are set out in the published Programme timetable. The timetable, rather than these Terms, is the definitive list of coverage for that academic year.

1.3 Ignito may advertise support for AQA, OCR and Edexcel, but the Programme only promises the qualifications, papers and tiers identified in the published timetable. The customer is responsible for checking that the student’s relevant qualification and paper are listed.

2. Included access for tuition students

2.1 Included access is available to active weekly students in the relevant subject where confirmed by Ignito, including Year 11 group students, Year 11 Online GCSE Programme students, resit students and school-funded students receiving weekly group tuition in that subject.

2.2 Maths and Science access are separate. A Maths tuition student receives Maths Exam Support only, and a Science tuition student receives Science Exam Support only. English tuition does not include Maths or Science Exam Support.

2.3 A student joining eligible weekly tuition before or during the Programme may receive the relevant included access. If tuition ends, access continues only until the end of the paid tuition period.

2.4 Included access may be suspended if the tuition account remains overdue after an attempted payment retry and contact from Ignito.

3. Standalone purchases and late entry

3.1 Standalone access is normally purchased through a single payment at the price shown at checkout.

3.2 Where the Programme has already begun, Ignito may offer late entry at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Any reduced late-entry price is discretionary and does not create a right to a particular reduction.

3.3 A late entrant normally receives access to previous recordings and resources that remain available, as well as the remaining Programme timetable.

4. Access period and platform

4.1 The Programme is normally hosted on Skool and may also use other approved platforms. Ignito may replace a platform with a reasonably equivalent alternative.

4.2 Access begins when payment has been received where required and Ignito grants or approves access to the Programme account.

4.3 Each student must use their own approved account and email address. Students must be at least 13 to use Ignito’s Skool Programme, and students aged 13 to 17 must have parent or carer permission.

4.4 Access to Exam Support sessions ends after the final scheduled Programme session or earlier when included access ends following cancellation. Recordings and resources normally remain available until 30 September following the Programme, unless access is removed under this Schedule.

5. Timetable and changes

5.1 Ignito may add, remove, combine, rearrange or change individual sessions where reasonably necessary, including because of tutor availability, examination changes, attendance levels or technical issues.

5.2 Where an online session is cancelled or materially changed, Ignito will arrange a reasonable alternative, which may be a replacement online session or another appropriate form of delivery.

5.3 A missed online session by the student is not refundable where the Programme, recording or relevant resources remain available.

6. Participation, recordings and conduct

6.1 Students are not required to join online sessions with their camera or microphone on. Students must participate from a safe and suitable learning environment.

6.2 Online sessions may record student video, audio, screen contributions and chat messages. Recordings are used for educational and safeguarding purposes and handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

6.3 Participants must be kind, respectful and focused on learning. Ignito may mute, moderate, suspend or remove a participant for disruption, abuse, inappropriate content, unsafe conduct or a safeguarding concern.

7. Resources, recordings and account sharing

7.1 Downloadable resources may be downloaded and printed for the student’s personal educational use. Recordings may be streamed through the approved platform but must not be downloaded, copied or shared.

7.2 Accounts, passwords, invitation links, recordings and resources must not be shared outside the student’s household or used by another learner.

7.3 Ignito may issue a warning, suspend or remove access, block an account and take proportionate action to recover losses where a customer or student deliberately shares, republishes or misuses Programme content.

7.4 Where access is removed for serious misconduct or deliberate misuse, no refund is due for the period or digital content already supplied. Any refund relating to a substantial undelivered part will be assessed fairly in accordance with applicable consumer law.

8. Seven-day money-back guarantee

8.1 A customer who purchases the Programme separately may use Ignito’s seven-day money-back guarantee once per student in each academic year’s Programme.

8.2 The seven-day period begins when Ignito grants access. The customer does not need to give a reason. To use the guarantee, the customer must contact Ignito before the seven-day period expires.

8.3 Ignito will provide a full refund of the standalone purchase price and remove access to the Programme. The guarantee is additional to statutory rights.

8.4 After the guarantee and any applicable statutory cancellation right have expired, standalone Programme purchases are normally non-refundable except where Ignito fails to provide the purchased Programme and cannot offer a reasonable alternative.

SCHEDULE 4: ONLINE GCSE PROGRAMME

This Schedule applies to the Online GCSE Programme, an online programme for Year 11 students in GCSE Maths and Science. It should be read with the Core Terms.

1. What the Programme includes

1.1 Two live online lessons each week per subject during the published Programme calendar, following a planned curriculum sequence.

1.2 Maths and Science are separate Programmes and are purchased separately.

1.3 Ignito aims to record every online session and make it available to Programme students, but a recording cannot be guaranteed where a technical or practical problem prevents it.

1.4 Homework is set as part of the Programme. Formal half-termly progress reports are not provided.

1.5 The Programme is an open-enrolment online class and is not limited to a maximum number of students.

1.6 Programme students receive the corresponding Maths or Science Exam Support Programme at no additional charge, as described in Schedule 3. A student who also receives included Exam Support through weekly tuition is not charged twice.

2. Joining and access

2.1 The Programme is available to Year 11 students. Students may join at any point while enrolment remains open.

2.2 Access begins when payment has been received and Ignito grants access to the Programme account. Platform, account, age and permission rules are as set out in Schedule 3, section 4.

2.3 A student joining after the start of the Programme receives access to the remaining live timetable and to previous recordings and resources that remain available.

2.4 No free trial is offered for the Programme. The seven-day money-back guarantee in section 5 applies instead.

2.5 From May, new entry is to the Exam Support Programme only, under Schedule 3.

3. Fees and payment

3.1 The total Programme price depends on the month of joining and reduces as the Programme year progresses. The exact price, the number of monthly instalments and any annual-payment discount are shown at the point of purchase.

3.2 Where the monthly option is chosen, instalments are collected in advance each month until the Programme price is paid in full.

3.3 Where the annual option is chosen, the full amount is payable in advance.

4. Missed sessions and changes

4.1 An online session missed by the student is not refundable or creditable.

4.2 Ignito may add, remove, combine, rearrange or change individual sessions where reasonably necessary. Where an online session is cancelled or materially changed, Ignito will arrange a reasonable alternative.

4.3 Participation, recordings, resources, account sharing and conduct rules in Schedule 3, sections 6 and 7, apply equally to the Programme.

5. Seven-day money-back guarantee

5.1 A customer may use Ignito’s seven-day money-back guarantee once per student in each Programme year. The period begins when Ignito grants access, and no reason needs to be given.

5.2 To use the guarantee, the customer must contact Ignito before the seven-day period expires. Ignito will provide a full refund and remove access. The guarantee is additional to statutory rights.

6. Ending the Programme

6.1 Where the customer pays monthly, they may end the Programme at any time by telling Ignito in writing. No notice period applies. The instalment for the current month is not refunded, and access continues until the end of that paid month.

6.2 Where the customer has paid annually, Ignito will calculate the amount payable for the period supplied in accordance with Core Terms clause 6.4 and refund the balance.

6.3 Included Exam Support access continues only while the Programme is active and ends when Programme access ends.

6.4 The Programme otherwise ends automatically after the final scheduled Programme session and does not roll into the following academic year.
